CACG Brings Its Trusted Standards to World Coins: Starting with Canada

When it comes to US coins, CAC Grading is known for accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Thus, we are proud to share our official entry into world coin grading—beginning with Canada. This marks CACG’s first extension into another country’s coinage (beyond a few modern issues) and reflects a long-term commitment to bringing our trusted standards to collectors and dealers worldwide. The launch of Canadian coin grading represents the first phase of a broader initiative to introduce CAC’s standards and collector-first philosophy to world coins.

This is the beginning of an exciting new era for CACG.

From early provincial issues to modern Maple Leafs, Canada’s numismatic history is rich, diverse, and deeply appreciated by many. Beginning with Canada allows CACG to leverage existing expertise and establish a scalable model for future expansion—a truly strategic step forward.

Generally speaking, we’ll accept all circulating denominations, provincial coinage, patterns, commemoratives, and maple leafs. For a complete list of the Canadian coins we’ll accept for grading, please follow the link below.

Collectors and dealers may begin submitting Canadian coins today, January 15, 2026. Submission tiers, fees, and imaging options are consistent with US coinage and are available at cacgrading.com/pricing.

Canada is just the first step. We are truly grateful for the support of the numismatic community as we embark on this new adventure.
