Import to “My Collection” #
If you, like many collectors, have a lot of coins, adding every item to the registry individually could be a daunting task. To simplify this process, we offer an import (or upload) function where you can add your coins all at once via a spreadsheet. In order to take advantage of this function, you just need to have your collection in spreadsheet file (Excel or CSV).
Below are the required columns in order to use this function.
For certified coins (we only accept CACG, PCGS and NGC today) – Your file must include a column for:
- Coin number – GSID that CACG uses or PCGS number; your spreadsheet must be consistent though; do not put both GSID and PCGS numbers in the same column.
- Grading service
- Cert number
- Grade
For raw coins, the only data point your file needs to include is the coin number, whether GSIDs or PCGS numbers.
Below are some screenshots showing the screens and highlighting the buttons to select.

Once you have uploaded the file, always confirm the number of coins on your spreadsheet and the number successfully imported to guarantee a seamless addition to your “My Collection” page.

If any errors are present during the import, you will receive an email detailing the changes needed to be made in order for the import to complete properly.
Export from “My Collection” #
To export your collection from the CAC Registry to a .csv file, simply select “Export” next to the “Upload” option.

The file will then download and be available in your downloads folder on your device. When you open the downloaded export file, you will have a document like in the image below. Please use this exported spreadsheet file as an example of what to import for the “Upload” feature to My Collection.
