About CAC services
Originally formed in 2007, CAC was founded to combat inconsistencies in coin grading by other leading services. It did not take long for our coins to be recognized by collectors as the premium coins on the market, leading to CAC coins selling for considerably more than comparable, non-CAC coins. In 2023, CAC expanded our service offering to include full, third-party grading services.
Why you ask?
Because we believe this will benefit the collector—our mantra.

Coin Grading
Coin grading is all about authenticating your coin and assigning it a "grade" based on its state of preservation. The output of this service is your coin in a sonically-sealed, plastic holder, preserved for the future, with a label noting the coin's details. Having your coin graded not only shows care for the coin but also adds value, liquidity and longevity to your treasure.
While not the biggest coin grading service—we only began this service in mid-2023—CAC's pursuit is to be the best coin grading service. For us, this means providing three things:
Most Accurate Grading
Our team of graders is unparalleled. John Albanese was a founder of the two other major grading services, and hand-selected Ron Drzewucki & John Butler, both of whom are masters of their craft. Traditional, collector-friendly grading is what we do.
Most Advanced Holder
Firstly, our holder is made entirely in the USA. Beyond that, it is made of medical-grade plastics, and our label is comprised of archival materials. What does this mean? The CAC holder is designed to preserve numismatic treasures better than any other.
Most Complete Service
We stand behind our product unequivocally, guaranteeing the authenticity and grading accuracy of every coin. Scan the QR code on the holder and view our top-flight photography. We also foster a sense of community with our Grading Club & Registry.

Coin Stickering
Coin Stickering, or "Verification", is our legacy service; this is the service that put us on the map in 2007 and paved the way for our Grading services. In short, Stickering is a secondary verification service provided on coins currently graded by either Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) or Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC). Though the service is not endorsed by those grading companies, collectors were looking for a way to know if the grade on their coin met our collector-friendly standard. If we believe a coin is solid for the grade, it will earn a CAC sticker.
What Coins Does CAC Grade?
Vintage Coins
Grading of classic, or vintage, U.S. coins is where CAC made its name. These are coins minted in the U.S. between 1792 and 1964 and are the foundation of most of the hobby's enthusiasts. From the ever-popular Morgan dollar to lesser-known Twenty cent, these coins are eligible for both Grading and Stickering services.

Modern Coins
Modern coins, those minted after 1964, continue to grow in popularity with numismatic collectors. CAC is proud to offer Grading services on these coins, from circulating type coins like Roosevelt dimes and Washington quarters to the increasingly collectible American Silver Eagle. CAC also grades select world modern coins.
Modern coins are eligible for Grading services only.
