DescriptionOnly the 1946-S is more common than the 1945-S and all other San Francisco Mint Walking Liberty Half Dollars. The 1945-S is plentiful in all grades except MS67, which is scarce. The strike is not terrible for this issue considering its Mint. That, along with either thick white luster or nice toning being available, makes the 1945-S a great San Francisco Mint type coin.
