A semi-key date in the categorical sense, the 1919-D Lincoln cent has plenty of survivors in circulated grades to satisfy collector demand and adequate supplies through at least MS63 or MS64 to fill numismatic needs there. The coin is much scarcer in the Red Gem grades, as is expected with most of the other early branch-mint Lincoln cents. Supply drops off significantly at the MS66RD level, and there are only a few known pieces in the MS67RD or higher levels.
