The 1901-S Morgan dollar is a tough coin in all grades, though much more readily available in circulated grades than uncirculated. In the MS levels, most are encountered between MS60 and MS64, with MS65s scarce, MS66s rare, and MS67s exceedingly rare. PLs and DMPLs are rare, though both designations have a few extremely rare survivors in the Gem levels.
