The 1943-D Mercury dime is a very common coin that is widely available in all grades from Good through MS67, with several dozen specimens known in grades of MS68 and even higher. Full Bands examples are commonplace among the range of uncirculated survivors and should pose little challenge to those who wish to acquire high-end specimens. The very highest-grade pieces cross the block from time to time and command princely premiums.
