The most common date of its decade, the 1939 is both abundant and accessible in most any circulated and uncirculated grade. There are extremely healthy numbers of Mint State pieces all the way through MS67. MS68 not considered rare but is certainly the finest and only somewhat scarce grade. Overall, the issue is very attractive with strong strikes and white luster or faint golden color.
