While this coin grew somewhat more common over the decades with the discovery bag quantities in the mid 20th century. Still, it is a scarce coin, but one that can be had for a price. It is certainly more common in circulated grades than uncirculated, where pieces become notably scarce above MS63 and somewhat rare in MS65. A tiny handful are known above MS66. PLs and DMPLs are very scarce and extremely rare in Gem levels.
