Description
The 1918 Buffalo nickel is a typically scarce as is the case for most early Philly-mint issues in this series. A respectable 32,086,314 were made though fewer than 10,000 are known across all grades. The coin becomes more difficult to locate with increasing grade level, though it is by no means a rare coin in circulated or even uncirculated grades, though it is scarce in Gem and rare in MS67 — the highest grade awarded to the coin by PCGS or NGC.
