As far as late Saint-Gaudens double eagles go, this is among the more common, particularly from the standpoint of Saints made between 1929 and 1933. Still, it is a very scarce coin overall, and one that generally trades well into the five figures. While examples in any grade are scarce, most are pretty well struck, with the higher-end pieces showing decent luster. Specimens grading MS65 or higher are especially rare.
