Similar to many other pre-1934 S-mint Mercury dimes, the 1925-S Mercury dime is, in low-end circulated grades, plentiful enough to satisfy numismatic demand. However, it is much tougher in the uncirculated levels. Examples grading MS65 or above are downright rare. There is a rather small supply of Full Bands specimens, and these tough coins usually command strong premiums, particularly above MS65.
