Philadelphia-mint 1919 Mercury dimes are among the most common of the pre-1934 issues from this series. This is the case not just for circulated specimens but uncirculated pieces, too. However, the 1919 Mercury dime is tough in the Gem grades, with pieces grading MS66 scarce, those in MS67 extremely challenging, and examples in higher grades quite rare. Full Bands examples are available but relatively scarce.
