The 1925-D Mercury dime is a common Denver-mint issue in the lower circulated grades but becomes much more difficult in grades of XF to AU or better. In uncirculated grades, 1925-D Mercury dimes are tough with those in the Gem levels -- especially MS66 and above -- very scarce. Many of the surviving uncirculated specimens are quite well struck, and this lends to a small but significant number of Full Bands examples.
