Like many other O-mint Morgan dollar, the 1887-O is a relatively tough date with wide availability in the circulated grades as well as in the lower MS grades. In MS64, this piece becomes scarce and rare in the Gem levels. Only a tiny handful are known in the MS66 level. PLs and DMPLs are both very scarce in all grades, with Gems of either proving rare.
