With 600 coins struck, the 1869 Indian Cent is a much better date in its proof series. Scarce up to gem PR65 at which point high-end gems, red pieces and those with cameo surfaces are very rare. Attractively toned brown pieces or blazing red surfaces are the most desirable and are not too difficult to come across.
