Word War II abruptly ended the production of proofs leaving this series cut very short. The 1942, as a final year of issue, is a great proof Walking Liberty Half Dollar type coin from a mintage of 21,120. It is common overall but scarcer in PR67 and PR68. The few PR69's are extremely rare. Interestingly enough, a handful of Cameo examples do exist in NGC holders.
