The Philadelphia Mint struck bevies of Lincoln cents during the early years of the series, and the 1911 issue is no exception. In fact, the 1911 Lincoln cent is one of the most common issues from the pre-1920 era of Lincoln cents and is readily available in all circulated grades up through MS65RD, and the strike is characteristically strong. This Philly issue becomes challenging in MS67RD and above, though there are rare known examples grading MS68RD ' a key attraction of the registry set crowd.
