Since the first issue in 1908, this 1915 is of the far most common
dates in the Indian Quarter Eagle series. This date makes a very proper
type coin considering the amount available in mint state grades and the
coloring, luster and strike are all quite sufficient. Like any other issue
of this series high grade gems seem to be few and far between.
