The 1901 Nickel boasts a very high mintage of over 26.4 million coins struck. It is very common from circulated grades up to and including MS65, leaving just the finest of gems with any scarcity at all. An ideal type coin because quality, lustrous eye appeal is not hard to come by but some weakness in the denticles is common.
