1938 Philadelphia Lincoln cents are common in all grades through MS66, affording many collectors the opportunity to own a nice example of this late Depression-era coin for relatively little outlay. Examples are rare in grades of MS67 or higher, which is the grading territory searched most frequently by registry set collectors and others hoping to build top-notch sets.
