The 1915 proof Buffalo nickel continued the decline in mintage from 1914, with only 1,050 struck — the second-lowest mintage for the series. The majority of 1915 proofs are encountered in the PR64-66 range, with a few dozen in PR67 and about a dozen in PR68 as graded by PCGS and NGC. The latter firm also slabbed one with a grade of PR69.
