The 1874 is a decent type coin for the Three Cent Nickel Series. Very common up through MS65 at which point the coin becomes scarce as a high-gem. Only the finest of gems are very rare. The striking is an issue for this date, especially with regard to the left numeral on the reverse which is very weak.
